Easter 2010 Egg Hunt
For Easter Grandma JoAnn bought Sierra some plastic eggs that we put some treats in and hid around the living room for her to find. She had a blast organizing the eggs into her basket and the decorative bowl on the table.

We joke about how fast it takes Sierra to taker her socks and shoes off once she gets them on. She just loves to be barefoot.

Video's of Sierra coming up and down the stairs
Sierra has become very good now at moving up and down the stairs. When it's time to go to bed, I announce it and she gets her blankie and heads to the stairs now. She also knows "time for diaper change" and she'll head for the stairs as well. At first I was having her scoot on her bottom with me holding her to make her way down and then Dad taught her the way he used to go down. She likes that way better. I think it's probably safer too. This was the first time I wasn't next to her so it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped because I was filming below her and couldn't help her to sit down and she was fixated with the camera as usual. But I think you can get the point.

Some Feb pictures and updates
This month has been an interesting one. Sierra got her first sickness, the stomach flu. Ever since then she is not really keen on foods that require us to feed her. She all of a sudden has a mind of her own and wants to feed herself. This has made it challenging to make sure she eats enough. I think she is probably losing weight because there is no way she is getting in as many calories with snack foods as she was when she was eating pureed foods. But she seems happy and is not waking up in the middle of the night hungry. Another question for the Doc, when I see her next. She is definitely wanting to eat whatever we are eating. For Valentines day she was lucky to have Pancakes for breakfast and yummy prawns which she lapped up happily for dinner.
She is also starting to get tooth number 6 on the upper jaw. This will give her 2 on the bottom and 4 on the top.
Here are some photos I have taken this month:

A week ago, we took her for her first MCDonald's experience where I bought her Chicken McNuggets and peeled all the skin off. That was fun but she loved them!.jpg)

Sierra loves the computer and anytime one of us is on it, she runs over and wants to watch and help type on it. Sometimes, bangs. Good thing my computer is resilient!.jpg)
Peak-a boo!

Here is her Valentine's Day outfit that Mira bought for her. Of course she refuses to keep her socks on!
Sierra's newest past time is running into the kitchen and opening all the cabinets and drawers and getting cooking utensils out and making any music she can with them. Then she tries to put them all back in one drawer which surprisingly will not close because it was not meant to fit 3 pot lids!

An evening out for us=Mira babysitting
Wow, once again it has been awhile. I have to admit I have not been taking too many photos lately (bad mommy). But lucky for us, last weekend Erik and I went out to celebrate a friend's birthday and photographer at large, Mira, went to town, and took a bunch of photos while she babysat our little munchkin. Thankfully, she was a peach and it sounds like both parties involved had a great time.
Here are some photo's from that night.

Playing with her 2 favorite toys in the world, a cell phone and a remote.
Absolute classic picture of my daughter changing the channels (or trying to).
When we came to pick her up, this was the position she fell asleep in. Definitely not a normal one for her but pretty funny!
