Bath time!

Sierra still loves taking baths so tonight before dinner and watching the Sounders game we squeezed in a bath. She loves splashing around, eating the bubbles, and playing with her toys. Here are a couple of pictures for all of you. Don't worry there are no X-rated ones!

Costume parties last weekend

This last Sunday we had 2 parties at the same time so we were busy! We had our weekly swim lesson in the morning which she still loves then we raced home and took a bath and ate lunch. The first party was for one of my co-workers son who was turning 1 years old, Diego. As you can see he is a little charmer and has mastered giving kisses. She loves it!

Both parties were costume parties and I had bought this cute duck costume but of course she hates hats and anything on her head so this is the only decent shot I could get of her with the cute bill on her head. The costume came with the head piece, body suit and cute duck feet.

The second party was at her boyfriend Conner's house which was for our Mommy group. Therefore we had kids ranging from around 2 months to 4 and half years old. Sierra just loves watching older kids running around. It is too cute to watch!
Here she is in between the parties catching some much needed beauty sleep!

New photos from last week

As always I have been stock piling the cute photos of Sierra. She is still crawling up a storm and using furniture to walk around. We are just waiting for those first unassisted steps. She stands up all by herself without hesitation and must have my strong leg genes because she stands for quite awhile. We noticed last night that the her two top teeth are starting to come down. I haven't noticed her being too cranky which is, once again, a testament to how lucky we have been with her!

Sierra playing in her crib video

Here is a video of her playing in her crib last night before she went to bed. I finally figured out how to post video's on You Tube so I will take some longer videos now for those who like them.

Cute photos from this week

Here are just some cute random photos I have from this week. She is now standing on her own which is pretty cool and scary at the same time because I am just waiting for her to tip backwards into something but so far so good. She is so strong. She is also starting to share her Cheerios' with us when she eats which is absolutely darling! She will put it in our mouth for us. Sometimes it seems like she is toying with me like psych, I'm not going to let you have it. But I'm not sure if that's on purpose. I also think she has been saying "hey" lately. This would not surprise me considering I say it so much. Both in a good "HI" manner and in a "Hey, what are you doing" tone. She may be picking up on that.
Anyway, it's a fun time!

She still loves playing with the mirror. And here she is playing my bear, Buster Brown.

Ice Age was on the other night and she was so excited and got as close as she could to the TV.

Meeting Sierra's Great Aunt and Uncle

Basically this last weekend was packed with visiting with relatives! On Saturday we visited my Mom and on Sunday after her swim lesson we went over to JoAnn's house so Sierra could meet her Great Aunt and Uncle Gene and Connie! They have quite a few grand kids now so they have lots of experience with little ones. But who could possibly compare to our little Sierra (not biased at all...).
Here are some photo's from their visit.

Did I mention she is now able to stand up on her own without assistance? Walking, is just around the corner!

Trek to see Grandma

This last Saturday we drove to Poulsbo to visit my Mom and help her pack her apartment. We have definitely had our fair share of moving and packing in our lives so she was happy to have a couple sets of extra hands. And of course there is Sierra! She had fun playing with bowls, my old baby toys that my Mom pulled out, packaging paper, and who could forget DVD's! My mom made the mistake of showing her where she stores her DVD's. We had to stop that super fast. Here are some pictures from the day.

Last camping trip for the year

Last weekend Erik finally got his wish and we went on an overnight trip to Mt. Rainier one last time before the camp sites closed and before it got too cold. It was a whirlwind trip but we got some cute photo's of Sierra!
We got a late start and didn't get to the camp site until 7:30pm on Sat night. We quickly set up the tent and fed Sierra. I went to the trusty bathroom to go pump (hurray for electricity) and Erik had that the daunting task of trying to trick a 9.5 month old to fall asleep in a yellow mansion of a crib (ie. tent) when it was 36 degrees. Did I mention it started to rain? Needless to say she wasn't having it without Daddy being there. When I finished my business she was asleep and Erik and I had to try and sneak into the tent and not wake her up again. Not so easy... She woke up a couple of times during the night and had to be fed once. I made sure Erik had Sierra on his side because if she was in between the two of us, neither one of us would have slept because we are both restless sleepers.
The next morning she woke up like clock work at 7:20 when my alarm always goes off. We had breakfast and hung around the camp, packed up, and drove up to Paradise to hang out in the nice warm Lodge for lunch.
It was a good trip but a little chilly and I wish we had another night so it wasn't so rushed.
Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Kisses to Mommy!

This was our wonderful walk-in campsite. We only had to walk down a small slope from the car but had this large spot that overlooked the river.
