Milestone Alert!!

Yesterday, Sierra started to crawl for the first time! Before, she just rolled all over the place to get where she wanted on the floor and now she is actually on her stomach and moving forward. I took a quick video so everyone could witness it. We better watch out!

Sierra's First Sounder's Game

We went to our first Sounder's game on Saturday with the Arena folks. Our group had the box so I thought it would be a good opportunity to take her and see how she would do with all the noise and crowds. She actually did great! She got fussy once when one of my co-workers was holding her and she stood up to yell which made her cry for about a minute and then she was happy again. She went from person to person and then towards the end of the game was ready for a nap. Not bad for a first time experience! Oh, I almost forgot. They tied 0-0 for the 80th time this season. Here are some cute pictures with my co-workers Nickie, Reena and Erin.

Updates from last week

Last week sierra turned 7 months old! It's crazy how time has cruised by. She is doing well with her solids now. We give her solids with all of her feedings along with her bottle. She eats applesauce, carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, and her favorite seems to be mashed bananas. She prefers Organic for some reason (go figure). She is sitting up by herself now as well. On Thursday, she came and visited me at work while Erik ran some errands. Here are some photo's during the week that I took and from when she came to visit at work. Our buddy Mira came and visited us to say Hi.

First Day of Swimming classes

Last Sunday Sierra had her first Waterbabies class. The age range for the class is 4-9 months. My friend Erika also enrolled her son Conner who is Sierra's little boyfriend. As I expected she loved it! She was splashing like crazy (maybe a little too much)! Luckily there was one other splasher in the class so she was not alone. This week we mostly learned a couple of songs and the proper holding technique but nothing too exciting. She was just thrilled to have all that room compared to the bathtub. Erika's husband, Andrew, was kind enough to take some photo's for us.

Daddy's been brainwashing me!

This is what happens when I leave my daughter in my husband's hands for too long while I am at work. He brainwashes her! He was just upset that she said Mom first. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of hearing it but boy, do I ever hear this!

Tooth aches

Here are some catch-up photo's for everyone. She has been having a tougher time at night these days because of her tooth coming in. Basically, she's a little more fussy and does not want to go down to sleep in her crib which she used to go without hesitation. Now, once we leave the room, even if it's just to go get something, she starts to cry. Last night, I got home at around 9pm and poor Erik had been trying to get her to go to sleep for awhile and so I took over and we danced to "So You Think You Can Dance" which she LOVES and I was able to get her go down at around 10:15pm. Definitely past her 9pm bed time!
Yes, don't we all wish we were this flexible!
